IT Technician Support will provide support to end users on a variety of issues. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED: Receives direct supervision from the Technical Services Manager. Does not exercise supervision over any other position. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Check and maintain computer hardware such as mouses and keyboards.
- Installation of PC hardware.
- Install, configure and manage software and their functions according to specifications.
- Develop and maintain local networks.
- Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
- Troubleshoot to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Maintain hardware and software inventory.
IT Technician requirements
- Previous working experience as IT Technician.
- Problem solver and attention to details.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Hands on experience with diverse computer systems and networks.
- knowledge of internet security and data privacy principle.
- Certification as IT Technician will be a big plus.
