Intro to Strategic Planning team
The Pricing Analyst will be part of the Strategic Planning team - placed in a pivotal part of the organisation, reporting into the CFO. Bridging Financial analysis and Strategic insight, the team works cross-functionally with a wide range of stakeholders (including the Executive team) - with the aim of planning GoCardless’ long-term trajectory, as well as drawing strategic insights from data to support decision-making.
The role
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Pricing Strategy team . You will be involved in designing and implementing enhancements to both existing and new product pricing.
The role will require significant interaction with key internal stakeholders across all functions - notably our GTM and Product teams. Clear articulation and presentation skills will be key, as well as a data-driven mindset.
What you’ll be doing

Create and maintain the pricing strategy guide

Analyse and model data to help refine pricing decisions

Carry out competitor analysis and market research to inform our pricing strategy

Support on new product pricing and existing pricing reviews

Support sales team with contract negotiations and approvals

Working with Sales Operations team to ensure our tools are up-to-date
Desired Skills

Degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or related disciplines (minimum 2:1 or equivalent)

Experience in pricing or pricing projects is prefered but not mandatory

SaaS, FinTech and Payments experience/knowledge would also add value
