Counselor

We are currently seeking a highly qualified and compassionate Counselor I - FST Wrap to provide therapeutic services to clients. In this role, you will deliver services within your scope of training, protocols, and competence, while adhering to the applicable statutes. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of therapeutic services, including assessment, treatment planning, direct service provision, person-centered care, and client risk and safety management.

This is a hybrid position, requiring a combination of office-based and remote work.

Required:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with a major in counseling, social work, psychology, rehabilitation, or a related field in human services.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with adolescents and adults who have mental health, substance abuse, and/or co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities.
• Ability to provide individualized, integrated mental health, substance abuse, and co-occurring services to meet the unique needs of individuals and their families.
• Successful completion of organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.
• Possession of a valid driver's license in the state of residence, a good driving record, and insurability under the corporate policy.

Responsibilities:

Therapeutic Services:

• Provide comprehensive therapeutic services, including assessment, treatment planning, and direct service provision, while adhering to established protocols and within your scope of training and competence.
• Manage client risk and safety, ensuring a secure and supportive environment for individuals served.

Support for Parents and Families:

• Offer guidance and support to parents and families in developing daily living skills, maintaining home safety, understanding child development, providing basic parent education and training, promoting nutrition, assisting with vocational skills, and facilitating access to information and referral services, community resources, concrete supports, transportation, money management, housing, and child well-being.

Pay: $19.75 per hour
