Job Description:
We are looking for experienced sales leaders in the solar industry. Build your team and provide sales training and leadership that you know to be the most effective, successful and financially rewarding for you and your team. The position requires door-to-door canvassing meeting with homeowners to identify potential solar clients. Responsibilities:
· Develop and train a team of solar sales consultants to meet target objectives
· Oversee sales team activities and coach team members with sales consultation techniques
· Provide sales performance reporting to company management
· Educate clients on the benefits of solar energy solutions to generate interest
· Provide in-depth consultations and listen carefully to identify and understand client needs and provide options that reflect sensible renewable energy solutions for the client
· Create customized proposals for clients, close sales, finalize contracts and continue to follow up with the client to ensure customer satisfaction
· Ensure proper account management through initiation of the process to completion of the project
· Develop strong customer relationships with clients to foster customer satisfaction and referrals
· Educate clients regarding solar energy benefits and tax credit opportunities
· Represent Going4Solar with honesty, integrity, professionally and in a positive manner at all times
· Continue to remain up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in solar technology
· Develop and execute sales plans and strategies
· Collaborate with Going4Solar management and teams to ensure seamless project implementation
Qualifications:
· Sales experience in the solar industry
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to understand and communicate effectively technical information to non-technical audiences in a clear and concise manner
· Self-motivated, results-oriented and goal driven
· Excellent customer service skills
· A positive attitude and able to overcome objections
· Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
· Passion for renewable energy and sustainability
· Ability to educate and engage customers effectively
· Comfortable with 100% commission-based sales
Requirements:
· Must have reliable transportation
· Requires laptop or tablet for presenting
Experience level:
· Leadership/management experience: minimum 1 year
· Door-to-Door sales experience: minimum 3 years (preferred)
· Solar sales experience: minimum 1 year (preferred, not required)
· Customer relations/service experience: 1 year (preferred)
