Gojob is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor for a logistics company located in Blacksburg, SC . You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the outbound warehouse processes and operations.
Shift & Pay :
Responsibilities :
- Develop processes for receiving products, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping
- Work closely with management to set and / or implement policies, procedures, and systems
- Work closely with the Inventory Manager and team to analyze inventory and ensure effective utilization
- Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices
- Purchase materials, plan inventory, and oversee warehouse efficiency
- Maintain safe, healthy, and legally compliant processes and work environment
- Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs
- Manage, recruit, train and supervise staff, wages, and hours
- Increase the quality of customer service
Qualifications :
- HS Diploma / GED with two years of external supervisory experience and two years of experience working in a distribution or similar environment
- Knowledge of operations quality and safety programs
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to motivate, delegate, and hold direct reports accountable to daily, weekly, and monthly production objectives
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Work Environment and Physical Requirements :
- Cold, hot, and changing temperatures
- Consistent noise at a medium level not damaging or loud enough to require protective equipment
- Will frequently be exposed to dust, dirt, and changes in lighting
- May be required to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs. (Additional weight may be required with assistance)
- Frequently walk throughout the warehouse to supervise employees
