A Printer’s primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Examine job orders to determine quantities to be printed, stock specifications, colors, or special printing instructions
• Correctly and efficiently setup screen, squeegee, and control knobs to properly print order Verify that correct ink meet the specifications for the apparel printed
• Understand the variety of locations for various apparel products
• Start presses and pull proofs to check for ink coverage and density, alignment, and registration
• Collect and inspect random samples during print runs to identify any necessary adjustments
• Produce a quality product while meeting production standards
• Maintain time or production records
• Flexibility to cross-train in all departments
• Pack product if required
• Screen printing, pad printing, heat transfer & laser engraving positions are available

Educational Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required, previous printing experience preferred, basic computer skills & mechanical aptitude

On the job training is provided

Skill Requirements:

Ability to work with inks and chemicals, ability to work in a high volume, fast paced, manufacturing environment

Extensive Attention to Detail

Strong oral communication skills

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 45 pounds

Ability to stand 8-10 hour shift
