SUMMARY:
Works with various departments to effectively obtain and translate business unit requirements into functional SAP application Solutions. Identifies business solution opportunities to increase operational efficiencies which may cross functional business units.
Gold Medal Bakery employs state of the art technologies in its IT Infrastructure. These technologies support a customer facing ordering system, predictive analytics, redundant computer systems and storage, Enterprise ERP and factory automation including robotics.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL TASKS
Develops reporting solutions to meet business unit needs.Provides support for existing SAP business solutions.Converts user requirements into business rules for the SAP environment. Fosters transition from manual processes to SAP. Thinks outside the box to holistically view business rules and develop structural changes as needed to improve operational efficiency.Works with business teams to support and facilitate SAP upgrades and support.Actions process and change towards a more “paper free” environment while minimizing workload impact to factory operations.Develops and supports ABAP code used to support current and future business rules and processes through Functional Module, programs and BAPI’s. Works with development staff to streamline process and foster business rules within SAP.Responds to SAP infrastructure needs outside of business operating hours as needed.Performs all other related assignments and training of other employees as required.Always operates according to company core values of caring, commitment, and integrity.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Experience/Preparation and Training
Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and technical experience.
Minimum of 2 years of SAP Basis experience is required, including at least one system implementation, one technical upgrade and one year providing operational support.
2-5 years of experience with ABAP,
SAP ECC6 experience is required. Hana a plus.
2-5 years of experience in 2 or more of the following: SAP Config, BASIS, BI/BW, FI/CO, SD, MM, PMO, PP.
Strong understanding of Windows Server and MS SQL Server technologies.
Previous experience in Capacity and Performance planning in larger, complex environment.
Experience using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Project Management Software.
Skills and Abilities
Must possess strong analytical, communication and project management skills.
Must be able to support Gold Meal Bakery’s ECC SAP environment effectively through ABAP, SmartFoms, SapScript and various other SAP supported environments.
Excellent communication, writing, and documentation skills.
Very strong analytical skills
Knowledge of Performance tuning and capacity planning.
Database administration skills a huge plus.
Must be a self-starter; able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Able to learn quickly.
Ability to provide training to users.
Must be well organized; multi-tasker.
Must have strong “business needs to implementation” conversion skills.
Must have a good understanding and proven practical experience in change control management practices.
Microsoft Project skills a plus.

WORK SCHEDULE
Position requires some nights and weekends as needed to perform administrative tasks or resolve system issues. On-site work will be required for a minimum of 18-24 months during upcoming project. Hybrid available once project is finished with required work on-site as determined by work requirements, and/or as determined by the department head.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Majority of duties performed in administrative office setting. Must be able to lift at least 20 lbs.Periodic walking or standing.Sufficient dexterity to assemble computer equipment/peripherals.Must be able to work courteously and effectively with others, and to assist co-workers as required.
