What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Enterprise Account Manager position at Goldbelly?
Who You Are
- You are a seasoned relationship manager with extensive account management experience and a deep understanding of the restaurant industry.
- You have a talent for developing strong business relationships with clients which build towards measurable KPIs, and can persuade people to try new approaches to how they manage their business.
- You are comfortable carrying an ambitious sales quota and making presentations in front of CEOs and other high-ranking executives as well as world-famous mom and pop restaurant owners.
What You’ll Do
- Strengthen relationships with Goldbelly’s iconic restaurant partners who ship food love across the country to our incredible customers.
- Own and manage relationships with an assigned portfolio of 30-40 of our highest priority restaurant accounts across the country, including at least one in person visit per year.
- Minimize churn, negotiate contract renewals and redirect accounts to opportunities of expansion.
- Work with your partners to resolve issues and pain points while anticipating and getting ahead of objections.
- Work closely with accounts to make them better partners, which includes improving their operational performance and expanding their menu offerings.
- Act as an advocate for Goldbelly and all we can do with our partners, especially helping partners with in-store collateral and their social media strategy to maximize nationwide shipping sales.
- Work across multiple internal teams such as finance, marketing and operations to ensure we are maximizing revenue for our partners.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years experience in client-facing account management with extensive knowledge of the restaurant industry.
- Track record of successfully retaining and growing large business accounts.
- High EQ and natural interpersonal skills - a connector and expert communicator.
- Experience with contract renewals and successfully navigating intense negotiations.
- Ability to fearlessly engage partners in uncomfortable conversations.
- Ability to own the relationships with your accounts while working cross-functionally with other merchant-facing groups such as marketing and finance.
