Summary:
The Evaluator will support the Division of STD Prevention (DSTDP) at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This position shall provide technical assistance and oversight to approximately 100 new funding recipients supported with core and supplemental awards through EHE and NNPTC.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- The contractor shall support PDIB staff with the planning activities related to the full implementation of this initiative.
- The contractor shall provide administrative support in facilitating multidisciplinary teams working on this program by setting up internal meetings and conference calls.
- Developing reports, plans, and timelines for the completion of required tasks.
- Tracking progress towards completing required tasks; and keeping PDIB management apprised of the status of various tasks.
- Make recommendations to improve the efficiency of the various processes used to manage the program.
- The contractor shall assist with data collection, review, and analysis.
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Knowledge of managing and analyzing datasets using various platforms
- Critical thinking: In reviewing trends, information, and outcomes, you will need to be able to deduce reasons for these results and consider alternative possibilities for creating more efficient use of resources.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and self-motivation.
- Excellent computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet programs and database management.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with the CDC is highly desired to understand the culture and environment.
