Summary:

The President oversees all aspects of business strategy and operations, establishing and growing Nisga’a CIOPS as a leader in the IT infrastructure solutions and services industry. Partners with technical architects and leading technology vendors to define, position, and promote the company's product/service offerings in rapidly growing technology infrastructure markets such as data center, virtualization, and cloud. Directs day-to-day operations to ensure optimal performance, customer satisfaction, and the long-term health of the company's brand and reputation. Creates and implements technology road maps and financial, operations, and business development plans. Develops and ensures adherence to the company's mission, goals, values, and business practices. Builds, mentors, and manages highly effective leadership teams. Carries overall responsibility for the company's direction, growth, and performance, including revenues, profitability, operating efficiency, and organizational development.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop a strategic plan to advance the company's mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability, and growth as an organization.
  • Oversee company operations to ensure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost- effective management of resources.
  • Plan, develop, and implement strategies for generating resources and/or revenues for the company.
  • Identify acquisition and merger opportunities and direct implementation activities.
  • Approve company operational procedures, policies, and standards.
  • Review activity reports and financial statements to determine process and status in attaining objectives and revise objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions.
  • Evaluate performance of employees for compliance with established policies and objectives of the company and contributions in attaining objectives.
  • Promote the company to local, regional, national, and international constituencies.
  • Build a business network using personal contacts, direct mail, special events, and other support.
  • Present company report at Member Shareholder and Goldbelt Board of Director meetings.
  • Direct company planning and policy-making.
  • Oversee all operations to include evaluating operating and financial performance.
  • Manage and direct departmental supervisors and staff, overseeing activities to ensure smooth operations of all departments and unify interdepartmental collaboration efforts required for successful operation of the business.
  • Establish/implement measurement tools to monitor and track accountability of all departments, and to ensure support and achievement of best practices.
  • Proactively identify operational and service problems and initiate resolutions; handle all complaints quickly and efficiently, all in the guests' best interests.
  • Responsible for the final selection and delegation of authority to all subordinate supervisors under his/her direction; enforce policies and procedures established by the company, and federal, state and local laws.
  • Interview, hire, evaluate, discipline, and discharge subordinate supervisors and employees; direct efforts to reduce absenteeism, tardiness, turnover and employee complaints while promoting teamwork.
  • Establish and maintain a close working relationship with corporate and subsidiary management and those representatives of the private and public sectors deemed important to the operations.
  • Support the company's shareholder hire objectives and develop a program to train and develop shareholders.
  • Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Experienced in strategic planning and execution in a rapidly growing information technology sales and services organization.
  • Extensive experience and understanding in leading all major IT infrastructure technologies, including network, data center, virtualization, systems, and cloud.
  • Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, government accounting and program management.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage critical relationships and form strategic industry partnerships with leading hardware and software vendors.
  • Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures.
  • Experience in formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
  • Experience improving the financial performance of an organization by developing and managing financial plans and resources.
  • Proven ability to negotiate, execute, and administer large, complex financial transactions.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and model financial data and forecast results.
  • Knowledge of public relations principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of communication and public relation techniques.
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations including complex financial and technical content.
  • Ability to identify and secure contract revenue sources and S(a) ANC program opportunities.
  • Ability to manage, supervise, and motivate subordinate staff; to lead by example, including the ability to adequately train staff; to handle disciplinary and stressful situations in an effective manner.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including excel, word, and outlook.
  • Working knowledge with accounting systems and ability to analyze data for accurate forecasting and financial reporting purposes.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with other employees.
  • Strong leadership and mentor skills.
  • Good written and verbal communications skills
  • Proven presentation and facilitation skills

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, AND Ten (10) years' experience in a leadership role for a large division or company, AND Fifteen (15) years' supervisory experience
  • OR Any equivalent combination of experience, training, and/or education to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of the job; AND Ability to successfully pass a background and credit check; AND Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret security clearance; AND A Valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record
