Summary:
Goldbelt Falcon is seeking a Word Processor II.
Essential Job Functions:
Types, compiles, changes, combines, edits, prints, and stores documents, such as correspondence, reports, records, forms, minutes of meetings, scientific or technical material, numerical data, and tabular information on word processor or computer equipment, from rough draft, corrected copy, recorded voice dictation, or previous version displayed on screen.
Follows instructions accompanying material or follows verbal instructions to determine format and content required.
Proofreads and edits documents for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and format and corrects errors as necessary.
Enters commands to establish spacing, margins, type size, style, and color, and other parameters.
Types, revises, and combines material, such as correspondence, reports, records, forms, minutes of meetings, scientific or technical material, numerical data, and tabular information, from rough draft, corrected copy, recorded voice dictation, or previous version displayed on screen.
Checks completed document on screen for spelling errors.
Stores completed document in machine memory or on data storage medium.
Enters commands to print document.
May load paper in printer and change cartridges.
May keep record of work performed.
May input data for revision or editing, using data entry device other than keyboard, such as optical scanner.
Variations in means by which tasks are accomplished result from brand of computer, printer, other word processing equipment, and software used.
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to select best image resolution and shading, based on quality of each individual document
Data entry experience and light typing skills
Ability to communicate in English (verbally and in writing)
Excellent reliability and punctuality
Experience should include providing high level graphics support, production of technical manuals, and production of books.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum three (3) years or related experience.
Minimum two (2) years of experience in writing/editing and utilizing advanced Microsoft Office skills for Project, and Visio as well as high level graphics COTS tools such as Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Secret clearance

Bachelor’s degree in related field
