Goldblatt Singer is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to add to their team.
The Litigation Legal Assistant should have experience in a law firm setting.
The Litigation Legal Assistant’s responsibilities include:
- Requesting and tracking the status of various records from providers to ensure records are received
- Coordinating, scheduling, and calendaring depositions and hearings
- Performing investigative research and administrative tasks
- Drafting, editing, and proofing various legal documents and correspondence
- Electronic filing in Missouri and Illinois courts
- Communicating with attorneys, paralegals, providers, and clients
- Trial preparation, including but not limited to, assembling binders and coordinating witnesses
- Assisting with organizing and maintaining electronic case files
Successful candidates for the Litigation Legal Assistant role are professional, articulate, and work well with others in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate can work with minimal guidance, prioritize, multi-task, and be comfortable supporting multiple attorneys and paralegals on litigation matters.
