WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

Summary:

Supervisor is held responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operations within the Receiving Warehouse. Follows all operating procedures, safety regulations, and must follow the division's policies.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Ensure the integrity of all supplies delivered to the Warehouse
• Occasionally operate electric palletjacks and/or forklift (training provided)
• Coordinates and supervises the activities of all Receiving associates on property
• Ensures adequate staffing levels in the warehouse by interviewing, selecting and training, scheduling, evaluating, disciplining and terminating associates as needed
• Compiles statistical data for reporting purposes
• Conducts the necessary research to effectively resolve Receiving disputes
• Maintains all files in the Receiving Department
• Held accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports to a high degree
• Assists with the creation and implementation of a computerized itemization of all goods and supplies received and stored in the warehouse
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse and receiving experience preferred
• Ability to deal with several abstract and concrete variables
• Apply common sense to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret basic instructions, furnished in written, oral or diagram form
• Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
• Must be number-oriented and computer literate
• Must possess effective communication, organizations and analytical skill
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all cards required by the company
• Must be able to verify right to work in the U.S
• High School Diploma or general education degree
• Must be at least 21 years old

• Occasionally walk, stand or stoop

• Occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 80 lbs.

• Work for sustained periods of time maintaining concentrated attention to detail
• Communicate via radios
• Vision, hearing, speech, phone, radio, and literacy (critical)
