Job Title: Creative Specialist
Department: Marketing
Reports to: Vice President of Marketing
FLSA Status: FT/40
Summary: Responsible for creative functions of Golden Harvest Food Bank including branding, graphic design, website management, direct communications, and collateral management. Position works with the Vice President of Marketing and the Content Marketing Specialist to create a cohesive brand and represent that brand through web, print, and promotional materials.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1.Branding
a.Work with Vice President of Marketing to create and maintain brand standards / SOPs for GHFB
b.Ensure brand standard compliance for all organizational publications
c.Create and maintain branding package to be included in new hire packet
2.Graphic Design
a.Create digital and print design materials for all departments and events including fliers, signage, graphics, brochures, PowerPoint presentations, etc.
b.Design promotional materials including promotional items, company clothing, etc.
c.Design graphic advertising materials including outdoor, print, and digital ads
3. Direct Communications
a.Work with marketing team to create, publish, and mail quarterly print and e-newsletter and in-house direct mail pieces
b.Create and mail email updates and solicitations through e-mail marketing platform
c.Manage and grow email contact list
4.Collateral Management
a.Order and maintain stocks of promotion and print materials including promotional items, company clothing, brochures, etc.
5.Website Management
a.Maintain web content including pictures, verbiage, link checks, events, etc.
b.Manage backend web and content updates
c. Develop and execute a regular web plan
d.Manage website analytics, provide regular analytics update, and use analytics information to optimize web content and fundraising

To perform the job successfully, an individual will demonstrate teamwork, commitment, written and verbal communication and organizational skills. The Creative Specialist must be able to meet deadlines and be results oriented. Branding and graphic design expertise and creativity are necessary to be successful in the position. Must be able to craft and convey a strong brand across a wide range of programs, departments, and facilities.
