We're Looking For...
As a Retail Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the retail segment of fulfillment operations within our distribution center. Your primary objective will be to ensure the smooth and efficient execution of daily retail operations, including putaway, order-filling, inventory control, order-packing, shipping, and put-to-light processes. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in maintaining departmental goals in safety, quality, and productivity, while also contributing to the overall success of the fulfillment center.
What Your Day to Day Looks Like:
- Supervise and coordinate all retail-related activities within the fulfillment center.
- Monitor workflow and adjust staffing levels or resources as needed to meet operational demands.
- Enforce safety protocols and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and address potential hazards or risks.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on safety procedures and best practices.
- Set department productivity targets and develop strategies to optimize operational efficiency.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement process improvements and workflow enhancements to streamline operations and increase productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including warehouse management, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of retail operations.
- Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders to provide updates on operational performance, issues, and initiatives.
- Act as a liason between frontline associates and upper management to address concerns, share feedback, and drive alignment with organizational goals.
The Best Candidates Will Have:
- Associates degree in Business Management or equivalent work experience.
- 1-2 years supervisory experience.
- Previous experience with WIS.
- Familiarity with mainframe computers and/or PC applications.
- 1 -2 years’ experience with HighJump WMS
- Team oriented mentality
- Capacity to lead a team to achieve set goals
- Desire to work in a fun and fast paced environment
- 1 -2 years’ experience with high volume batch picking
- Analytical ability
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Experience with manual pick/pack environment
- Ability to multi-task
- 1 -2 years’ experience with Inbound/Outbound processes
- Demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Walking, lifting up to 25 lbs required and standing throughout the duration of shift, daily
