Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, employees, and members of management in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
Must be able to complete standard forms and reports.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to function at all duties of a Guest Service Representative, VIP Reservationist, and PABX Attendant as well as knowledgeable of key control
- To assist in progressive training and discipline of all Guest Services staff
- To maintain scheduling and payroll (40 hour equivalents) of Guest Services staff
- To have knowledge and be able to interact effectively with all other departments, especially with regard to accounting procedures
- Receive guest complaints and ensure that they are satisfied and/or compensated; follow up with proper departments/employees involved
- Attend any specialized or cross training deemed necessary by upper management
- Assist Hotel Manager in writing/implementing new policies and procedures
- Oversee daily occupancy levels to ensure the highest yield from rooms available
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.
- Inspect and monitor Hotel, including lobby, hotel rooms, and public areas.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Ability to manage employees, training and coaching skills with evidence of developing exceptionally motivated teams
- Exceptional customer relations skills, detail oriented, leadership, time management and organizational skills a must, minimum 2 years hotel experience required
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, administrative, multi-tasking, organization and prioritization skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), fluent English and articulate
- Ability to work efficiently, independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results
- Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications required (Outlook/Excel/Word)
- Knowledge of Hotel Systems such as LMS
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- 2 years supervisory skills required.
- Minimum age requirement is 21
