ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Junior Data Analyst is responsible for assisting with data mining, analysis, and reporting to all stakeholders, both internal and external. Specific duties include but are not limited to:
• Create powerful dashboards for stakeholders which enhance strategic decision-making capabilities.
• Analyze facilities data in order to identify problems and trends. Assist with resolution.
• Conduct inventory assessments, identifying and correcting data quality issues.
• Provide on-site and remote data management and manipulation at the request of the client.
Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
• Minimum 1-2 years’ data processing experience, to include advanced MS Excel knowledge and a functional understanding of data visualization software such as MS Power BI and/or Tableau.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
• Good technical and organizational skills are essential.
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral) as well as customer service skills due to daily interaction with various levels of rank, authority, positions both military and civilian.
• Knowledge of overall Defense Health Agency mission, organization, functions, capabilities, administration, and operations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word), especially Excel.
• Microsoft Power BI experience, and Tableau 10.2 or higher a plus.
• Strong attention to detail.
