Job Title : Swim Instructor (teacher) and / or Lifeguard $16-20 / hr
Summary : Instruct students on water safety and proper swim techniques based on a thorough knowledge of the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.

Requirements
- Ability to work with children of all ages and ability levels
- Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum
- Enforces safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents. Lifeguard administers first aid when necessary
- Evaluates student's progress, and complete required paperwork
- Interacts with parents / guardians on the activities and development of students’ swim skills
- Attend required / mandatory workshops and in-service training outside of regular working hours
- Fulfills other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Employer
Education / Experience : 16 . Experience in child care, as a camp counselor, coach, or mentor is a plus. A passion for kids, fitness, and the sport of swimming is important!
Certifications : Not required. However, we offer Lifeguard classes for those candidates looking to guard and wish to obtain / maintain current Lifeguard, CPR / AED, and First Aid certifications.

Goldfish Swim School Closter is a learn-to-swim facility for kids ages 4 months to 12 years. Our proven confidence-building curriculum promotes a love of swimming and teaches children to be safer in and around the water.
