What are the responsibilities and job description for the File Clerk - Law Office position at Goldman & Peterson PLLC?
Goldman & Peterson PLLC, an established, mid-sized, insurance defense law firm is seeking a part-time file clerk. The ideal candidate is an energetic, hard-working, team-player who possesses good work ethic. This position has a flexible schedule with a minimum of 25 hours per week.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in an office setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe
- Clean driving record (will be making runs and deliveries for the Firm)
Duties:
- Answer and direct all incoming phone calls to the Firm
- Prepare physical case file for trial
- Review and sort claim file documents
- Receive, log, disperse, and label all incoming medical, billing, radiology, employment, cell phone, etc. records
- Prepare closed/settled files by removing them from open file shelves to closed file shelves, purging, etc.
- Collect loose filing and sort into penda-flex folders
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and request ordering as necessary
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
