Goldschmitt and Associates is seeking a Software Developer.

This is a hybrid position that is primarily remote with onsite work as needed.

Summary:

The focus of this role is providing backend development support along with UI testing/design for a custom complex scheduling application. This role would support our senior systems engineer and work alongside our frontend developer.  This role would be involved in multiple related efforts and be part of a 5–8-person development team. 

• Develop and maintain system documentation including system design specifications, end user manuals and user roles document.
• Perform functional UI testing
• Analyzing software requirements
• Review code to identify any inefficiencies

Minimum Qualifications:

• Possess at least 1 year of experience with the following:
  • Backend development using Java and Java testing frameworks
  • Experience using the Spring Framework
  • Design and development of REST / RESTful API
  • J2EE technologies
  • Use of AWS Developer tools and AWS Cloud Technology
  • User Authentication
• Possess the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
• Possess sole US citizenship as well as having worked in the United States for 3 out of the last 5 years.
• Possess the ability to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualification:

• Frameworks: Apache OpenJPA, Hibernate
• Technologies: Web Services (REST) and Restful Services
• Platforms: AWS, Docker Containers
• Application Servers: WebSphere, Tomcat
• DB2, MYSQL
• Tools: Git, CI/CD, Swagger, stress test using Junit
