What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at Golin Theatres?
Golin Theaters Inc is currently seeking a Controller to join our corporate accounting department located in Henderson, NV.
The ideal candidate must have an accounting degree and a minimum of 10 years accounting experience. Strong communication skills, along with a solid knowledge of accounting theory, accounting systems, QuickBooks, Excel/MS Office. HR experience is desirable but not required. Reporting to the owner, this position will be responsible for various duties within the accounting department that will include:
Support accounting team with daily, weekly and monthly processing, reports and inquiries.
Process and oversee daily, weekly, monthly and year end transactions for general ledger, cash receipts, inventory, payroll, revenue and operating expenses.
Responsible for preparing and issuing monthly financial statements for multiple legal entities and locations.
Oversee professional development of staff.
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, procedures and principles.
Assist in the coordination of annual audits.
Complete special projects as assigned.
Provide recommendations for improvements in systems and procedures.
Candidate must be flexible, detailed orientated, and be able to multi-task several tasks at once.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
