Responsible for acting as a liaison between customers and the sales department. Assists with order placement, account questions, issue resolution, and any other duty to ensure customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Field written and verbal inquiries from customers to place new orders, follow-up on existing orders, or for problem resolution. • Enter sales leads, quotes, and confirmed sales in computer system for tracking and processing. • Process customer inquiries and paperwork such as credit applications, freight quotes, custom color matches, returns, and duplicate invoice copies. • Follow-up on confirmed sales to guarantee on-time shipment and delivery. • Interface with sales force to support sales objectives and business growth. • Handle dealer account information including commissions. • Maintain customer database by updating customer contact information. • Provide customers with requested paperwork such as supplier forms and minority certificates. • Other tasks/duties as required.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• One year of previous work experience in customer service industry is required. Experience in sales and manufacturing industries is recommended.
