Dispatcher

The Dispatcher creates and monitors delivery routes with Department Manager/Supervisor guidance. The role is responsible for up to 12 vehicles delivering to over 200 clients across the state.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create and monitor delivery routes for all vehicle fleets covering deliveries to all clients across the state.

• Ensure delivery drivers are well supported and prepared for routes.

• Assist in the tracking process of delivery data and cargo manifests. This includes tracking customer invoices and customer service logs.

• Perform front-line customer service duties including providing delivery times to customers, assisting with product returns, and building positive business partnerships.

• Learn and master GPS Fleet tracking software, inventory tracking software, and order processing software.

• Track vehicle’s mileage and wear for maintenance cycle reporting.

• Assists with any other projects/delivery duties that are assigned by manager.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be able to obtain a state marijuana license and pass a background check.

• Must be able to communicate with Team effectively and professionally.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high stress situations.

• Self-Motivated

• Ability to stay focused.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Working experience using GPS tracking software and inventory control.

• Cannabis Experience (Preferred).

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

• The ability to respond quickly to sounds.

• The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.

• The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations.

• The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day.

• The ability to sit or stand for up to 12 hours at a time.

• The ability to work in bright/hot/humid conditions.

• The ability to work in low light situations.

• Lifting, standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, push/pull, repetitive use of hands, grasping use of hands, visual activity.

• Exposure to limited hazardous chemicals.
