What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatcher position at Good Day Farm?
The Dispatcher creates and monitors delivery routes with Department Manager/Supervisor guidance. The role is responsible for up to 12 vehicles delivering to over 200 clients across the state.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and monitor delivery routes for all vehicle fleets covering deliveries to all clients across the state.
- Ensure delivery drivers are well supported and prepared for routes.
- Assist in the tracking process of delivery data and cargo manifests. This includes tracking customer invoices and customer service logs.
- Perform front-line customer service duties including providing delivery times to customers, assisting with product returns, and building positive business partnerships.
- Learn and master GPS Fleet tracking software, inventory tracking software, and order processing software.
- Track vehicle’s mileage and wear for maintenance cycle reporting.
- Assists with any other projects/delivery duties that are assigned by manager.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be able to obtain a state marijuana license and pass a background check.
- Must be able to communicate with Team effectively and professionally.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high stress situations.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Working experience using GPS tracking software and inventory control.
- Cannabis Experience (Preferred).
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- The ability to respond quickly to sounds.
- The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
- The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations.
- The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day.
- The ability to sit or stand for up to 12 hours at a time.
- The ability to work in bright/hot/humid conditions.
- The ability to work in low light situations.
- Lifting, standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, push/pull, repetitive use of hands, grasping use of hands, visual activity.
- Exposure to limited hazardous chemicals.
