Packaging Tech

Packaging Tech ensures the quality and consistency of our cannabis products on the front lines.

• Performs and supports a variety of packaging activities, including labeling, weighing, grinding, crowning, filling, and final packaging of all cannabis products.
• Maintains proper organization of the Packaging rooms.
• Ensures the organization and cleanliness of the Packaging department-related rooms.
• Ensures organization and cleanliness of the immediate work area.
• Performs regular cleaning and maintenance on work surfaces, tools, and related equipment (scissors, table, floors etc.).
• Contributes to instructed cleaning, sanitizing, and organization in the Packaging department areas.
• Contributes and shows support to associates with a safe, well-maintained, and organized work area.
• Checks final packaging to ensure product leaving the facility is compliant.
• Follows company instructions to ensure accuracy within the role.
• Follows all instructed state and federal compliance regulations.
• Follows instructed procedures to maintain compliance and safety.
• Reports any compliance or safety mistakes or error to the leadership of the department.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of cannabis cultivation and packaging processes is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining product quality.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Must be at least 21 years of age (as per legal requirements).
• Must be able to obtain a state medical marijuana badge and pass a background check.
• Reliable transportation

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• The ability to respond quickly to sounds.
• The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations.
• The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly.
• The ability to sit or stand for up to 12 hours at a time.
• Lifting, standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, push/pull, repetitive use of hands, grasping use of hands, visual activity.
