ABOUT THE ROLE
RESPONSIBILITIES
We’re looking for someone to provide direction and oversight for our forecasting, logistics and purchasing team so we can keep thriving as a brand. This is a unique role and one suited to someone who is looking to create their own path in the operational landscape. Many other roles in this space will talk about things like “strategy” and “process bottlenecks” and “workflow requirements” and, while those things are all important and you may very well end up doing them - we are looking for someone who wants to do operations differently. Uniquely. Now here’s some more operational speak:
- Work with the Planning NInja to improve our forecasting on a continuous basis. Provide guidance and ideas as to how we can continue to sharpen our axe in this area.
- Hold a key role in establishing good business relationships with our current manufacturers. Negotiating best possible terms.
- Monitors real time inventory levels
- Looking for ways to innovate all operational processes.
- Working with our warehouse manager, build efficiency into the procurement and warehouse functions as the company scales, to identify solutions to deliver cost savings in the operations
- Performs other duties as needed to drive business success.
- Review, evaluate and develop the global logistics to support our international distributors
- Partner with digi squad, product team, sales, finance and other internal functions.
- Establish accountability in key logistics, distribution, planning, supply chain processes by creating key performance metrics (KPI’s) for measuring effectiveness.
