POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for successfully acquiring and managing contract. Directs and coordinates activities of all site managers to meet contract specifications. *Exempt from overtime. May perform duties of absent site manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure contractual compliance through surveillance, audits, trip reports, hands on inspections and interviews with customers, building occupants, employees and project management.
- Establish financial goals for each job location and ensure Project Managers meet their financial goals.
- Develop cost proposals for new work and renewals. Conduct proposal presentations to new and existing customers. Perform marking during site visits for new work potentials.
- Develop and implement work procedures. Develop and implement Quality control plans for sites.
- Provide oversight for all levels of purchasing for all assigned contracts and sites. Monitor contract spending, inflation and pricing guidelines for vendors and subcontractors.
- Represents the organization in the community in a positive fashion and participates in local and state meetings that foster the mission.
- Assists VP with annual budget preparation; works within budgetary constraints. Ensures accuracy of customer billing.
- Evaluate and recommend products, equipment and tools that are necessary for job function.
- Monitor contract spending, inflation and pricing guidelines vendors and subcontractors
- Ensure timely maintenance and repair of equipment and vehicles.
- Provide counsel, mentorship to all project managers and staff. Develop training requirements and keep up with best industry practices.
- Perform efficiency reviews for continuous improvement.
- Provide technical support to customers and project managers.
- Demonstrates ethics and complies with Corporate Compliance Program.
- Meets Yearly Mandatory Training requirements for this position..
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position has supervisory responsibilities over the Area Project Manager.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of two (2) years prior management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- High school graduate
- Ability to verbally communicate with others.
- Willingness to delegate authority when needed.
- Attends and participates actively in all departmental meetings with open and direct communication
- Protect and monitor our capital equipment.
- Coordinate and physically direct job startups as well as job closures.
- Enhances safety program by following all federal, state and agency safety requirements; Ensure staff wears safety equipment; follows the use of chemicals and equipment according to the manufacturer’s directions; attends required trainings.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Some college experience.
COMPENSATION:
$27.00/hour depending on experience and qualifications.
