POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining organization websites, intranet, and providing other multimedia support.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain organization web sites (GCT, Excel Center, GCTA, GSG) using CMS platforms (Expression Engine and WordPress) including design/design implementation, coding, documentation, deployment, monitoring, support, and updates.
- Develop, maintain, and update organization intranet using Google Sites and SharePoint.
- Manage and maintain website CMS platforms, ensuring successful transition to newer versions.
- Ensure all web pages are mobile responsive.
- Manage DNS, and domain administration and documentation.
- Ensure web pages are friendly to users with visual or auditory impairments using the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) guidelines.
- Manage Google Analytics and Google Ads.
- Collaborate with MarCom Team to implement SEO best practices.
- Execute internal communications via multiple channels including email and text platforms.
- Provide overall support for the goals of the Marketing Communications Team.
- Some regional travel required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years web development experience.
- Proficient in website design and development.
- Capable of exercising SFTP and basic server functions.
- Demonstrated competency in use of CSS, HTML, JavaScript and image editing software (Adobe Photoshop).
- Demonstrated experience with content management systems (CMS) development.
- Experience programming dynamic web pages using PHP with MySQL database.
- Knowledge and application of web accessibility standards, web standards, and SEO principles.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with Expression Engine, WordPress, Google Sites, and SharePoint.
- Experience with nonprofits a plus.
