Sales Associate Job Description

Our Sales Associates focus on customer service, store appearance and accurate, efficient transactions. Sales Associates are team-oriented, friendly and innovative in solving customer concerns. They go the extra step in making customers feel at home in the store. We seek individuals who make work a priority and who enjoy meeting high expectations in a fast-paced environment. Sales Associates will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Cash register operation.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Stocking sales floor with donated product.
  • Store appearance: Rotating stock, tidying, and continually keeping the store looking its best.
  • They are able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Position may include cross-training.

HOURS: Associates should be available to work most store hours. Some evenings and weekends.

Job Qualifications


  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred, but on-the-job training is provided. 
  • Must possess and consistently demonstrate the ability and willingness to utilize excellent customer service skills.
  • Must have good work habits such as acceptable attitude and punctuality and must respond appropriately to supervision.  
  • The understanding of how to approach a customer, ability to    demonstrate merchandise to shoppers, basic knowledge of fashion, style, color, quality and the use of accessories.
