1700 W Washington St Phoenix Arizona, 85007 Position Description: Promotes coffee consumption by educating customers on Thrive Services Group Inc. (“Thrive”)’s mission & vision. Prepares and serves a variety of coffee drinks, along with pastries and cookies. Instrumental in building customer relationships and fostering a positive and friendly store environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Welcomes customers by determining their coffee interests and needs, maintaining a positive attitude at all times. 2. Educates customers by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu and answering questions. 3. Prepares and sells coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as espresso, latte and cappuccino. 4. Generates revenues by attracting new customers. 5. Maintains inventory by replenishing coffee bean supply, stocking coffee brewing equipment, maintaining supplies, pastries, and cookies. 6. Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance and calling for repairs. 7. Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations. 8. Performs assigned cleaning duties before, during and after the shift. 9. Performs other related duties, as assigned. Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills): • High School Diploma or GED preferred. • Prior café or coffee shop experience preferred. • Familiarity with telephone, office, and point-of-sale software. • Maricopa County Food Handler card required. • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.
