AbilityOne Training and Program Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY
The AbilityOne Training and Program Coordinator will conduct initial and ongoing eligibility assessments and obtain the required documentation needed for employment consideration within the AbilityOne Program requirements. The AbilityOne Training and Program Coordinator will provide case support services for Project Managers and AbilityOne employees and maintain strong working relationships with other organizations and networking groups that serve individuals with disabilities. The AbilityOne Training and Program Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with additional administrative duties within the program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
- Ensure that all AbilityOne employee information adheres to Goodwill, federal, and AbilityOne policies and procedures.
- Create and maintain Individual Eligibility Evaluations for all employees qualified for the AbilityOne Program.
- Recruit and onboard Non-AbilityOne applicants through Paycor.
- Conduct intakes and qualification process of AbilityOne applicants.
- Act as a resource for Project Managers and employees who may need assistance with employee accommodations, behavior interventions, modifications to work, etc.
- Provide onboarding support to employees (orientation, security clearances, etc.)
- Maintain relationships with community referral sources to recruit individuals with disabilities.
- Assist with gathering and preparing materials for SourceAmerica Regulatory Reviews
- Complete a variety of administrative tasks for the Director of Contracts
- Create and distribute meeting agendas, meeting minutes and materials at Board of Directors meetings
- Assist with maintaining accounting controls within the department.
- Actively maintain a safe, healthy, and positive environment that promotes the physical and emotional well being of employees, customers, and participants.
- Meet or exceed the attendance expectations for this position.
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field is preferred
- Three or more years case management or work with individuals with disabilities preferred
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- First Aid/CPR Certification required (training provided)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Must have a strong understanding of disability diagnoses, effects and accommodations.
- Must have strong written communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize projects, and meet deadlines
- Must have good computer skills and be willing to further develop those skills
- Must be flexible in making accommodations or changes necessary to ensure services meet or exceed standards
- Must be able to travel throughout the Omaha/Lincoln metro area
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Sedentary
Lifting up to 10 pounds maximum and occasionally lifting and/or carrying such articles as dockets, ledgers, and files. Walking and standing are required only occasionally.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Limited
General office environment infrequently exposed to extreme atmospheric conditions (temperature, noise, fumes, dust, etc.)
