Tax Advisor Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review tax returns, financial statements, and other compliance documents
- Assist clients with tax audits, inquiries, and communication with tax authorities, ensuring compliance and addressing any potential issues
- Offer expert tax advice and guidance to clients regarding venture capital taxation, fund structuring, carried interest, capital gains, tax credits, and other relevant tax considerations
- Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to identify applicable tax implications, regulations, and incentives for clients operating within the venture ecosystem
Tax Advisor Qualifications:
- CPA certification is required
- 5 years of experience working as a CPA in public accounting, focusing on the venture capital industry
- Must have an excellent understanding of US tax laws, regulations, and reporting
