The Tax Manager will be responsible for managing accounts, preparing and reviewing federal and state income tax filings, and resolving tax issues. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of public accounting experience in tax and hold a CPA or Enrolled agent certification.
Tax Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts and build relationships to foster new account growth
- Prepare and review Federal and State income tax filings for designated and new accounts
- Determine the proper workload for each staff member on the team
- Research and resolve tax issues with accounts
- Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and timely feedback
- Collaborate with Partners on tax issues and stay current on all tax laws
Tax Manager Requirements:
- CPA or Enrolled agent certification
- 5 years of public accounting experience in tax
- Independent forward thinker with a strong work ethic
- Strong account relationship skills
- Desire to grow and be a partner in the future
