The Acquisition Marketing Lead will drive strategy, activation and optimization for multiple (addressable) media platforms that contribute to our overarching omni-channel acquisition strategy. This position will work with cross-functional partners to ensure that our media activation levers relate back to our commercial/marketing/communication objectives to acquire new customers - Enabling the Goodyear Company Owned business to drive profitable sales growth. The role will work closely with our marketing services agency partner to ensure that we develop/deliver effective and efficient creative-led media execution that is rooted in our consumer journey, framed by our connections strategy and focused on our key audiences.
Primary Responsibilities
- Key point-of-contact for identified (addressable) media platforms (agency media team, selected media partners and Goodyear Company Owned cross-functional stakeholders).
- Drive strategic thought leadership on addressable media platforms in a continuous learning environment.
- Lead platform optimization strategies, test and learning opportunities.
- Lead performance goal setting.
- Build data-driven briefs (with Business Leads) - Driving activation strategies that will enable us to meet our business objectives.
- Stay abreast on media best practices and emerging media platforms.
- Ensure proper platform reporting to enable measurement/optimization.
- Partner with the Digital Analytics Lead to align addressable media with our learning agenda, MarTech roadmap and broader business objectives.
- Work with Finance (and respective business leads) to successfully complete monthly budget/forecast exercises and annual planning needs.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree in Analytics, Business, Marketing or a related field
- 3 or more years of experience in Digital Marketing - With demonstrated expertise in at least one tactical area
- Experience with managing agencies, vendors and aggressive timelines
- Experience with DTC (direct to consumer) and Retail advertising
- Drive platform strategy, activation and optimization
Desired Skills and Abilities
- Master's degree in Analytics, Business, Marketing or a related field
- Data-driven approach for marketing landscape evaluation
- Understanding of AdTech functionality, programmatic media/performance marketing tactics
- Communication and presentation skills to cross-functional partners and Commercial Leadership
- Work cross-functionally across Company Owned, Shopper and Brand teams
- Experience with marketing application with multiple sources of customer data
