GeneralDescription :
As an AutomotiveTechnician in one of Goodyear's Auto Service centers, you will beresponsible to professionally inspect, diagnose and repair tire andconduct automotive services, while delivering an excellent guestexperience.
You will also have the opportunity to mentor andcontinually learn about new technologies in the rapid changingautomotive industry, while also being successful in a teamenvironment.

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to :
- Perform line technician services,routine inspections / maintenance, system diagnostics, problemsolving ability with full automotive troubleshooting and testing,including Road test vehicles after repairs are complete to ensuremechanical soundness and to determine whether any other problemsexist
- Brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primaryand advanced fuel ignition, electrical, air conditioning, computersystems, power-train management systems, road tests for diagnosis,and service recommendations
- Display acommitment to learn new technologies within the rapid changingautomotive industry
- Demonstrate excellentguest service, which includes providing clear communication andfeedback about guest vehicles Provide guidance and mentoring tojunior and mid-level automotive technicians
- Document all work performed on the repairorder
- Report any safety issues immediately tomanagement
- Promote teamwork to deliver on timeand accurate guest care during all operating hours
- Maintain strict adherence to Company policy onvehicle care and operation
- Perform a varietyof manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may includelight and heavy lifting, including consumer tires and wheels,standing, bending, and squatting.
Basic Qualifications :
- Minimum 3 years of automotivediagnosis, problem-solving and repairs experience.
- Valid driver's license
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- No relocation is being offered for thisposition
- Candidates must be legally authorizedto work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in thefuture
Preferred Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED
- ASE Certifications
- Previous exhaust, primary and advanced fuelignition, electrical, air conditioning, computer systems, andpower-train management systems experience
