- Manage and optimize the plant raw material supply chain and inventory: Physical Inventory, IQR, Accurate Forecasts, Shipment/Inventory Tracking
- Responsible for purchasing, sourcing and receiving of materials required for production with external vendors
- Manage data based upon inventory results, validates min/max needs, monitor all inbound raw materials to Plant, 3rd Party Mixers & local preweigh site
- Drive continuous improvement throughout the plant raw material organization
- Initialize conversations with vendors concerning shipping variation, lot size, packaging
- Assembles effective strategies to achieve the assigned work
- Develop systems that assure the sustainability of process improvements
- Drive audit and follow-up systems
- Develop and implement plans to support team development addressing quality, waste, delivery and cost
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in business or related field preferred
Experience:
- 4-6 years of experience in requisitioning, replenishment, movement and storage of raw materials
- Experience in a manufacturing company in a supply chain function or operations management role with demonstrated capability of leading or participating in high performance learning organizations/teams
- 3-5 years’ experience in Supply chain/Raw material field.
- Continual learner as evidenced by the application of knowledge gained through additional education, experiences and/or training
- Ability to establish priorities, objectives, time limits and goals
- Excellent communication, problem solving and computer skills (Microsoft Office)
