Senior Analyst

The Senior Analyst will join as an analytical leader within the driver operations team at gopuff. Drivers are a crucial piece of gopuff’s story and play an extremely valuable role as our key connection point to the end customer. Drivers deliver the magical experience that is gopuff to customers across the US and our team is proud to build the operations, process, technology, support and overall infrastructure that allows them to be successful. We are a centralized team managing everything from new driver growth through pay and incentive models, compliance, customer service, communications and anything else that touches on the driver experience. We are in major growth mode and will be bringing on 50 new team members in 2021 as we build our operations to redesign the future of the gig economy, not conform to the present model.

You’ll help lead the way with data on everything we do. From dashboard and reporting to experiment analyses, analytical deep dives and predictive modeling you will work to better our teams understanding and use of data throughout our every day roles. You’ll work across excel, google sheets, looker and SQL to become an expert in our data models. You’ll partner with internal operations, comms, support, acquisition and process teams to provide the analytical horsepower they need to stay on track with their execution.

• 3 years in an analytical role supporting an operations team
• Expert level SQL and excel knowledge. R or Python experience a plus.
• Experience building intuitive dashboards, reports and analyses for easy dissemination
• Expert presentation skills. Able to synthesize complex datasets and topics into actionable insights. Ability to generate buy in from stakeholders. 
• Statistical understanding as it relates to multivariate testing and modeling
• Understanding of regression and clustering techniques
• Curiosity around data and willingness to continue to go deeper and learn about our business
• Root cause analysis, able to use data to diagnose any problem in front of you.

SKILLS:

• Strong analytical toolkit. Excel, Looker, SQL a must. R/Python is a plus
• Strong sense of ownership and entrepreneurial spirit with relentlessly high standards and high attention to detail 
• Must be a collaborative, cross-functional team player and comfortable partnering with a variety of teams from Product to Ops to Finance
• Proactive & independent, always looking for ways to take initiative and improve existing programs/processes. 
• Resourceful - is able to work independently and as part of a team. 

• Strong organizational skills, must be able to prioritize various activities
• Welcomes constructive feedback and uses it to grow 

• Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion
