One of the biggest keys to our success is the strength of our team. To support our growth, we’re hiring a HR Manager as a key member of our team. Because the job requires availability to come into the office regularly, we're looking for local candidates.
The Opportunity
- Manage HR processes such as on-boarding, off-boarding, employee relations/investigations, diversity, safety and health, leaves of absence
- Manage employee benefit enrollments, change requests, and COBRA
- Manage salary and comp administration, including bonus programs, increases, and prepping semi-monthly payroll
- Lead and organize recruiting efforts, including job postings, initial candidate screening, and proactive targeting
- Coach and assist managers and executives with performance management, leadership, and related skills
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
- Review and update employee policy handbook
- Maintain and be administrator of HRIS system (BambooHR)
- Review benefits annually with executive leadership
- Manage the company’s physical office in Orem, UT
- Support current and future business needs through development, recognition programs and engagement to nurture a positive working environment
- Keep up to date with human resource management trends as well as HR legal regulations and recommend changes or innovations
- Other HR duties/projects as assigned
Who Qualifies
- 3-5 years human resources generalist experience, including compliance, employee relations, recruiting, compensation, and training.
- Thorough knowledge and experience with HR-related legislation
- Excellent problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface with all levels of company personnel
- Proven accomplishments demonstrating self-starting and decision-making ability.
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Comfortable being an agent of change/running change management
- Experienced in delivering HR services across the organization
- Payroll administration a plus, but not required
This job will almost certainly require things we don’t yet know yet. It will require being flexible and helping create our processes as we grow.
