Personal Line Marketer This position is one of 80 Long Island Insurance remote, hybrid and in-office positions we are discreetly filling for our clients. Salaries range between $50,000 and $250,000
Salary $60-80,000 Benefits
Location: Lynbrook, NY
Our client, a professional brokerage that employees over 40 people and offers terrific benefits seeks a personal line marketing executive. This is an addition to staff to work on new leads generated by the agency, producers and re-market requests, specifically quoting, not servicing accounts.
Qualifications
- Current NYS Brokers License
- Extensive personal line underwriting/coverage knowledge
- Comprehensive knowledge of various insurance contracts and the coverage they provide, as well as an understanding of company underwriting guidelines.
- Knowledge of Chubb, ACE, Cincinnati, AIG, Travelers, Kemper, Encompass, Progressive and GMAC systems in order to secure quotes.
- Knowledge of Flood Coverage and how to quote and secure policies.
- Ability to secure all required underwriting information from new clients and/or producers in order to market the account.
- Quote new business and renewals based on risk with one or more carriers.
- Knowledge of running underwriting reports and the ability to interpret the information provided.
- Have a knowledge of high net worth clients and their coverage needs.
- Enthusiastic attitude, cooperative team player, adaptable to new or changing circumstances, professional demeanor, self-motivated.
- Requires excellent communication skill, both verbal and written, and organizational skills for dealing with clients and underwriters.
- Must have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of AMS 360 a plus.
