Position: Account Manager, GORUCK Growth
Location: Jacksonville Beach, FL
SUMMARY
The Account Manager owns partnerships, event sponsorships, athlete sponsorships, and ambassador programs to drive GORUCK’s brand, product and event recognition and revenue growth. In close partnership with the GORUCK leadership team, the Account Manager executes on short- and long-term strategies to increase GORUCK visibility across a variety of verticals. This position will manage existing business relationships, onboard new ones, and contribute to the creation of new strategic initiatives.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Manage existing business relationships and create inbound/outbound strategies to attract new ones to drive GORUCK’s brand, product and event recognition, and revenue growth objectives.
- Communicate with existing business contacts and prospective partners.
- Promote the company’s products, services and platforms to prospective business and individual partnerships.
- Ensure all business opportunities have been defined through a written contract, which comply with our company financial and legal guidelines, and are managed within the stipulated budget.
- Manage the Drop Shipping Program for specific partners.
- Oversee and serve as project manager for partner relationships.
- Strategize new and interesting ways brand ambassadors can boost seasonal campaigns and new product launches.
- Provide feedback to the head of Marketing of PR opportunities to ensure the PR agency secures earned media for products and rucking in line with strategic growth objectives.
- Work closely across departments to optimize results from partner relationships.
- Document and track partner engagement and revenue (OKRs).
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree. Preferred in business, finance, economics, or related fields.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role in relationship management, business development, marketing, or a sales-related field.
- Strong project management, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Grace under pressure. Strong relationship building skills. Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Enthusiasm for the company and its growth potential
- Sharp negotiation and networking skills
- Preferred experience in managing and leading teams.
- Willingness to travel as needed (estimate 1-2 times per quarter)
