Full-time Clinical Mental Health Therapist Needed at Our Psychiatry Office in Aurora, IL
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our premier psychiatrist MD outpatient practice. Our practice is renowned for providing comprehensive mental health services to a diverse clientele. As a member of our team, you will work with individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. You will play a vital role in conducting assessments, developing tailored treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support our patients' mental well-being.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.
- Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that address their specific needs, goals, and preferences.
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions for mood disorders, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
- Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
- Monitor and track clients' progress throughout the treatment process, making adjustments to the treatment plan as necessary.
- Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of mood disorders to inform treatment approaches.
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and stay abreast of best practices in mood disorder treatment.
- Serve as an advocate for clients, promoting de-stigmatization of mood disorders and advocating for their mental health needs.
Qualifications:
- Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state.
- Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
- Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals.
- Proven track record of delivering successful outcomes in treating mood disorders.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
