Job Description

The Role

To support our rapid growth, we seek a growth-oriented and passionate Agile Coach to join our Agile team. You will play a pivotal role in the evolution and maturity of agile at Gousto, working closely with all levels of the organisation.

The key priority in the agile team in 2023 is defining and rolling out the Gousto Delivery System, which aims to increase time to market and develop the agile maturity of our teams. You will be working with cross-functional teams to define and implement parts of the system, changing the way they work for the better. You will champion our principles of autonomy, simplicity, transparency and sustainable pace. 

You will use a combination of coaching, mentoring, facilitation, and training to help teams deliver increased business value, at a sustainable pace and will work across all roles in tech, with the potential to work with teams outside of tech in the future.

Your success is defined by driving impact across our teams, and solving key issues which hold them back from realising their full potential. You will be responsible for continuously growing Gousto's agile maturity as a guardian of Agile mindset and processes in the organisation.

What Will You Do:

  • Guide teams on their adoption of lean/agile values, principles, metrics, tools, and practices.
  • Collaborate across functions to identify and improve organisational/system level changes to the benefit of all teams.
  • Work across teams to increase team performance, health, and overall effectiveness.
  • Facilitate change through coaching, training, and workshops to embed cultural and systemic change.
  • Collaborate with our agile coaches on the development of the agile guild, growing our agile community.
  • Develop processes for knowledge sharing across squads and tribes.
  • Act as the guardian of Agile and ensure squads do not fall back on old ways of working.
  • Use delivery metrics as an inspect & adapt tool within the team.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

  • A passionate and driven agile coach/change manager, experienced in applying agile values, principles, metrics, and experience of scrum and kanban.
  • Experienced in organisational change management.
  • Experience in crafting reference material/running training and workshops across teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skills.
  • Self motivated, assertive, and able to manage multiple improvement efforts.
  • An ability to make complex concepts simple.
  • Working knowledge of JIRA and how to get the most out of it.
  • Ideally, experience within a scale-up environment.
