Responsibilities
Creates integrated project plans for contract deliverables and new products in development projects. Manages a project team comprised of a multidisciplinary staff. Reviews, manages and controls status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with team members and line managers. Generally reports to a Program Manager.
1. Manages the direction of a project through the design, implementation, and testing in accordance with project objectives.
2. Defines requirements and plans project lifecycle deployment.
3. Supervises professional and technical support personnel performing in their regular disciplines.
4. Schedules tasks and coordinates with various team members to accomplish the results.
5. Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
6. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
7. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking, analysis and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's with 2 - 5 years (or commensurate experience)
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analysts / Project Manager in IT software development
- S. Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (An additional 2 years of experience may be substituted for education requirements.
- Experience with Agiletools such as the Connect SAFe, Jira or Azure Boards
- Experience in full IT software development lifecyleto ensure effective facilitation at all levels and all stages of the project
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- High level knowledge / awareness of the development technologies (Java, .NET)/ databases, UI/UX practices etc. to effectively communicate with Developers
- Ability to develop user cases and testing models
- Strong ability coordinate and lead meeting between work groups
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, exercise flexibility, and prioritize workload and deliverables within schedule constraints to deliver results.
- Must be well organized and detail oriented and possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies, be highly collaborative, engaging, and professional.
