Soil Scientist

Gove Environmental Services, Inc. (GES) is looking for a full-time Certified Soil Scientist to join our team. We are looking for an individual who has field experience in wetland delineation, soil mapping, and permitting. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, soil mapping, wetland delineation, development permitting, client coordination and office work as necessary. The applicant will need to be able to regularly traverse uneven and steep terrain on foot and be able to work on large tracts of land independently and with others. Soil Scientists who have experience or are actively in training are also encouraged to apply. Familiarity with common office software (Microsoft Office, Acrobat, Email) is a must. Experience with GIS and GPS software or hardware is a plus. The individual must be willing to work successfully in both a team and individual setting. A degree in a science-based field, Biology, Environmental Science, Ecology, Wildlife Biology, Etc. is required. Pay: $68,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
