Job Description:
Government Solutions and Services is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Medical Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling innovative and cutting-edge medical devices to Department of Defense and Veterans Affairs clients in the North Carolina regions. The primary medical device, already pre-arranged on the Federal Supply Schedule (FSS), offers rapid purchase opportunities for government entities using a government purchase card (GPC).
Responsibilities:
1. Identify and target potential clients within the Department of Defense and Veterans Affairs sectors in the NC and VA regions.
2. Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and engage in consultative selling to showcase the benefits and applications of our proprietary medical device.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in government agencies, hospitals, and medical facilities.
4. Leverage your negotiation skills to close sales and achieve revenue targets.
5. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to effectively communicate the advantages of our innovative medical device.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to develop business strategies and marketing initiatives to enhance product awareness and market penetration.
8. Be proactive in identifying new opportunities and potential areas for expansion within the medical field.
9. Exhibit grit and resilience in overcoming challenges and setbacks, maintaining a positive and motivated attitude.
Requirements:
1. At least 1 year of successful sales experience or comparable qualifications.
2. Knowledge of business strategy and market dynamics is a plus.
3. Agility and adaptability in handling a diverse range of clients and situations.
4. Excellent negotiation and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
5. Prior military background or military spouse status is a significant advantage.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivated and driven to achieve sales goals.
7. Familiarity with the healthcare industry, medical equipment, or medical devices is preferred but not mandatory.
8. Willingness to travel within the North Carolina regions as required.
9. Quick learner, willing to learn the products up front, master the objections, and execute with confidence.
