Job Overview
The Controller will oversee all financial operations within our organization. This role is responsible for managing financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and compliance to ensure the financial health and sustainability of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Monitor financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and financial reporting requirements.
- Manage the accounting team, providing leadership and development opportunities.
- Coordinate audits and work with external auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard the organization’s assets.
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably in the healthcare sector.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
