Account Executive
Summary:
A northern Minnesota company is looking for an Account Executive to join the team at its Cass Lake/Crow Wing County location! This individual will be responsible for the promotion and sales of Internet, Video, VoIP, business telephone systems, data monitoring, and networking and hosted IT applications. Additionally, this individual will be prospecting for new sales opportunities, identifying sales applications, proposing solutions, closing sales, and ongoing account management.
This role will be in-office, with the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis.
Responsibilities:
· Meet established sales quota for high-speed internet, VoIP, business solutions, video/music entertainment, and business systems solutions
· Meet established sales quota for IT solutions including onsite data management, co-location data equipment services, data monitoring, management services, and automated system backup services
· Provide Sales Director with weekly reporting of prospects, cold calls, proposals, and signed agreements
· Maintain contact and sales status databases, and ensure information is current
· Deliver weekly and monthly projections for anticipated new business volume
· Sales of products and services offered over company’s network areas, including Fiber Optic Network, Co-Location Facilities, Copper Plant, Agency Agreements
· Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with member services reps and customers
· Effectively address any customer questions/concerns, documentation of conversations, and take action to resolve issues
· Promotion and sales of maintenance contracts
· Commit to honest, ethical services, and consistent maintenance of values and actions
· Do the right thing, regardless of the situation or external pressure
· Hold accountability to co-workers and the team
· Build strong relationships and teamwork to achieve common and team goals
· Think proactively of what might be important to each member and anticipate those needs
Requirements:
· 2-year degree, or equivalent work experience
· Extensive knowledge of both voice and data technologies
· Strong knowledge of the telecommunications industry is HIGHLY preferred
· Maintain effective working relationships with other employees, the community, customers
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to follow written and oral instructions
· Ability to multitask, and prioritize between multiple projects
· Maintaining an efficient workflow
· Ability to work within a sometimes-stressful environment, with potential frequent interruptions
· Ability to accept responsibility, and take accountability
· Skilled with issue identification and resolution
