Key Responsibilities
- Design and size systems for food and beverage processing, including pumps, heat exchangers, valves, and other equipment.
- Collaborate with vendors for equipment procurement, quoting, and pricing projects.
- Oversee the installation of equipment and manage subcontractors on site to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Ensure adherence to industry cleaning best practices and sanitary standards.
- Work closely with the project engineering and design team to deliver effective and innovative solutions.
- Communicate effectively with sales staff to leverage technical expertise and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Follow 3-A, FDA, and USDA regulations to design and implement systems that meet regulatory standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Bioprocess Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in designing and installing systems in the food and beverage industry.
- Strong knowledge of sanitary process design and compliance with industry standards.
- Proven experience in project management, including working with vendors and managing subcontractors.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Ability to travel (up to 50%) for several days at a time.
