Responsibilities :
- Safely operate and maneuver heavy-duty trucks to transport waste materials to designated locations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working order
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving and make safety a top priority
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including mileage, fuel consumption, and deliveries
Job Functions :
- Operate vehicles equipped with hydraulic lifts to load and unload waste materials
- Utilize GPS and communication devices to navigate routes effectively
- Monitor waste containers and ensure proper disposal in accordance with company policies and regulations
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as checking tire pressure and oil levels
- Maintain a clean and organized truck cab and cargo area
Skills :
- Experience as a CDL Driver with a minimum of 5 years of driving experience
- Proficient in operating CDL vehicles and familiar with safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Valid CDL license and clean driving record
