What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC MACHINEST position at gpac?
- Maintain Industrial equipment such as Manual &CNC Lathes/Mills, industrials saws, grinders, sanders, gas furnaces, air compressors and hydraulic power units.
- Diagnose SCR, IGBT, transistor packs, diodes, and other power semiconductors.
- Use of Oscilloscope, Meters, and High Voltage Tester
- Repair of machine tools including ball screws, spindle assemblies, ways and slides, chucks, limit switches, relays, drives, resolvers, and operations of machines.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and flowcharts.
- View and edit programs using Siemens PLC software
Requirements:
Qualified Candidates should have experience in the following categories:
- College or technical training in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working on CNC Controls, troubleshooting and repair.
- Experience in repair of machine tools including ball screws, spindle assemblies, ways and slides, chucks, limit switches, relays, drives, resolvers, and operations of machines.
- Experience in Mechanical and Electrical Machine Tool Repair training
- Hydraulics, Pneumatic, other mechanical skills training
- Knowledge of and experience with troubleshooting with PLC's and Robotics
Education:
- Preferred - Mechatronics or IET or related Industrial Maintenance Degree
- Minimum - High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
- With an AAS degree - 2 or more years preferred
- W/O an AAS degree - proven knowledge base, 3 - 5 or more years of Industrial Maintenance Experience.

Schedule:
