CNC Programmer
As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for determining the most efficient method of machining using effective tool paths, techniques, and tooling. You will write clear and comprehensive setup instructions, verify all programs using Vericut for completeness and errors, and utilize standard tooling packages. Effective communication with internal stakeholders regarding manufacturing issues is crucial, as is adherence to quality system requirements and safety standards. Additionally, maintaining a clean working environment and contributing to team efforts are essential aspects of this role.
Duties:
- Determine efficient machining methods using effective tool paths, techniques, and tooling.
- Write clear setup instructions and verify programs using Vericut.
- Utilize standard tooling packages and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.
- Adhere to quality system requirements and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean working environment and contribute to team efforts.
- Accomplish strategic departmental and organizational goals as required.
Skills/Qualifications:
- 5 years of programming experience with NX.
- 3 years of 5-axis programming experience.
- 3 years of experience using Vericut or equivalent verification software.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Dependable attendance and ability to work under deadlines.
- Flexible schedule.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with NX programming.
- Familiarity with controls, instrumentation, and tooling.
